The Black Lion consistently serves great food. It has been a first choice setting for both family celebrations, as well as a quiet dinner for two.

It is fabulous in winter when the open fires are on and they have a reasonably good range of beers and wines.

It is actually a boutique hotel, but the restaurant is well-known locally – book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The holiday cottage is only 10 minutes drive away and you can park outside in the small market square in the evening.
