Brancaster beach (14 miles)

Brancaster beach looking west at sunset

Situated right next to the beach and with a large car park, this is a popular beach for young families and those less able to walk out too far. It also has toilets and an ice cream kiosk by the beach entrance. Windbreaker and bucket and spade essential.

The main beach is to the right and the crowds thin out the further down you walk. If you turn left on the beach you can walk down to a channel into the marsh where grey seals can regularly be seen basking on the opposite shore. A good place for a sunset walk.
