Houghton Hall (10 miles)

Located roughly mid-way between Fakenham and Kings Lynn, along the A148 main road, Houghton Hall was built for Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole in the 18th century. The Hall is set in parkland, featuring an outdoor contemporary sculpture park, walled garden, excellent cafe and a toy soldier museum (We’re all little boys at heart!). You can also visit the Palladian style house and there is a Norfolk arts and crafts exhibition and shop.
