Historic Norwich is around 50 minutes drive away, or there is a bus once an hour during the day, which takes around an hour. (Buses depart from Freeman St. opposite Tesco).

The city boasts a cathedral, a castle, good shopping and restaurants and is good for a day out. The train from London Liverpool Street arrives in here, and also runs about once an hour also.
