Walsingham Village and Priory (6 miles)

Besides going to the Black Lion Hotel for dinner, the main reason to visit Walsingham is to see the Priory.

A destination for many pilgrims, it can be full of people in season, or a very quiet place out of. Nice countryside driving there; a good farm shop and antigues centre nearby, but otherwise just the Priory and two good pubs/gastro pubs.

There is also the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway, a narrow-gauge steam train, which runs May-October most years. Check for details.
